The El Mojon Hills development is situated in the village of Isla Plana, on the mountainside coastline of Costa Calida. The town of Puerto de Mazarron is a five minute drive away.

The nearest airport is Murcia, approx 45 minutes away. Alicante airport is approx 90 minutes away.

Costa Calida (translated as Warm Coast) is found in the south-east corner of Spain between the Costa Almeria and Costa Blanca. From the most southerly port of Aguilas to the beaches of El Mojon in the north of the Costa Calida stretches 250km. The coast is part of the province of Murcia.

The south Costa Calida has a rugged coastline with many hidden coves and large sweeping bays with a mountainous backdrop extending over 150km. The north is a flat plane encompassing the Mar Menor natural lagoon type lake, the largest in Europe at 170sqkm in size.

Inland we find more mountain ranges of which most are natural parks and the terrains can range from tree lined lakes to sand and limestone moonscapes.
