La Casa Girasole is situated in the village of Lisciano Niccone. It is on the westernmost fringe of Umbria, 17km south west of Umbertide, about 10km north of Tuoro and Lake Trasimeno as the crow flies, and 20km east of Cortona in Tuscany.

The nearest airport is located in Perugia but the house is easily accessible from Pisa, Bologna and Rome.
